pARENT vOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

Scouting is a great family activity! Parent involvement is crucial to making the Scouting experience the best it can be!
Also, not all volunteers wear uniforms! In fact, many parent volunteers do not go camping, chaperone, attend every event, or even have previous Scouting experience! Although we love it when parents help with those activities, many parent volunteers help "behind the scenes" with planning and carrying out our events.
The time commitment is minimal, unless you want to be more involved. There is a place for every parent who wants to help!
Being a parent volunteer also has benefits:
-
The annual dues of $150 are waived for a Scout if his/her parent or guardian serves as a volunteer for the Scouting year. This requires regular attendance at the Pack Committee Meeting (which is held approx. once a month) and regular involvement in helping with events in some capacity.
2. You have input and help guide the direction of the Pack.
3. You will make your Scout's experience more meaningful!
All of the rolls in the Dens & Pack are volunteer positions.
