DUES

Cost:

  • Pack 13 charges less in dues than we spend per Cub Scout. The dues are $150 per year plus 1st-5th graders must sell at least $300 worth of popcorn. For those who do not want to sell popcorn, they can pay an additional $150 instead. Selling popcorn is not required for Kinders. but is enocouraged.

  • Because we offer such amazing prizes for selling popcorn, many of our Cub Scouts sell more than the $300 minimum. This is what allows Pack 13 to keep our dues relatively low and have fun events!

  • Do not let the cost deter you. If you need help paying the dues, please apply for assistance by clicking below:

HANDBOOK

Den Handbook:

  • Those who join for the first time get a certificate for a free handbook.

  • Returning Cub Scouts, please ask you Den Leader about obtaining a Handbook.

UNIFORM

Class A Uniform:

  • Uniforms are not as complicated as they look.

  • Lions (Kinders.) need an official Lion t-shirt, neckerchief, slide, & belt. The belt can be used until 5th grade so don't cut it too short. Lions also need blue pants or shorts, which do not have to be official Scout items.

  • 1st-4th graders need an official Scout blue button-down shirt (which can be worn until 5th grade so buy it big), neckerchief, slide, & belt. Blue pants or shorts are also needed.

  • 5th graders need an official Scout khaki button-down shirt, neckerchief, slide, olive green belt, & olive green pants or shorts.

  • Hats/caps are optional at all grade levels.

  • Official Scout items can be obtained second-hand, online, or at the Scout Shop on Maple near 120th.

Class B Uniform:

  • For all grade levels, this consists of any Scout t-shirt, hoodie, etc. and jeans, pants, or shorts.

  • Pack 13 will provide a t-shirt to Scouts in Fall 2025, so there is no need to buy one.
